During the Canada Post Strike, account payments are still due on the due dates.

Payment options during a strike:
* Pre-authorized Payment Plan
* Cash or Cheque payments at the Township office
* Telephone or Online through your financial institution
* At your bank branch
* Credit Card payments can be made online by visiting the Amaranth Treasury website https://www.amaranth.ca/municipal-government/treasury-department/
You will need your Customer Number (located on your invoice), the amount you wish to pay and valid credit card. **A convenience fee will be applied to the payment amount.
**Credit/Debit Cards are not accepted in the office.
In order to avoid late charges, please do not mail payments.
Please call the office if you need details on your water account or wish to sign up for electronic billing.
Online Credit Card Payments Now Available
The Township of Amaranth now offers a convenient way to pay your property taxes, water account, building permits, dog tags and municipal invoices online using a credit card with our secure payment provider (fees apply).
What You’ll Need:
19-digit roll number (found on your property tax bill)
Customer number, invoice number or building permit number located on your invoice
The amount you wish to pay
A valid credit card
Note: When paying using a credit card a convenience fee will be applied to the payment amount.
