2026 Municipal Election Update
The nomination period for the 2026 Municipal Election has closed and the certified candidates have been confirmed.
Chris Gerrits has been acclaimed as Mayor and Gail Little has been acclaimed as Deputy Mayor for the 2026–2030 term of Council.
An election will be held for three Councillor positions, with the following four certified candidates:
- Susan Graham
- Brad Metzger
- Victor Ingmar Paan
- Cheryl Russell
Voting Day is Monday, October 26, 2026.

Voting will be available by internet and by telephone.
