Online Credit Card Payments Now Available
The Township of Amaranth now offers a convenient way to pay your property taxes, water account, building permits, dog tags and municipal invoices online using a credit card with our secure payment provider (fees apply).
What You’ll Need:
19-digit roll number (found on your property tax bill)
Customer number, invoice number or building permit number located on your invoice
The amount you wish to pay
A valid credit card
Note: When paying using a credit card a convenience fee will be applied to the payment amount.
Environment Canada and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry’s (MNRF) Surface Water Monitoring Centre (SWMC) is forecasting significant rainfall for Friday through Saturday with amounts ranging from 20 to 40mm or higher.
A strong low-pressure system is forecast to move through the Grand River watershed starting late Friday, March 8, 2024 through to Sunday, March 10, bringing widespread rain and potentially mixed precipitation or snow as the system tapers off on Sunday. The bulk of the rain, up to 25 mm is forecast for Saturday, March 9.

The current weather system crossing the watershed is bringing above freezing temperatures and approximately 30-40 mm of mixed snow and rain on Tuesday, January 9, resulting in increased river flows throughout the Grand River watershed.
