Calling all Vendors!!!

We are seeking local farmers, crafters, artisans, business owners and more to take part in a monthly outdoor Vendor Market being held at the Amaranth Municipal Park.

Dates TBD – proposing the last Saturday/Sunday of each month from May to September.

Rain or Shine - Local Grown Produce & Products

Spring is here! Help clean up our Township by collecting garbage in our parks, ditches and roads. Get a cleanup kit from the Township office, head out anywhere in Amaranth and collect litter/garbage. Every bag collected and dropped off at the Township office will receive a raffle ticket to win a prize. This event will run for the weeks of April 17th to 21st and 24th to 28th and garbage can be dropped off between 9am – 4pm daily. Please contact the office to participate and to pick up your kit.

The Township of Amaranth does hereby proclaim April 2023 as Sikh Heritage Month.

The Township recognizes the important contributions that Sikh Canadians have made to communities in Ontario in social, economic, political and cultural fabrics. Sikh Heritage Month is an opportunity to remember, celebrate and educate future generations.
