Starting July 1st Blue Box transition will be in effect. Circular Materials Ontario (CMO) will oversee the residential Blue Box program in Dufferin County. Please direct all residential recycling inquiries to CMO’s contractor GFL. For new or replacement Blue Boxes, please call GFL at 1.888.941.3345 ext.1 to make arrangements. Credit Valley Conservation (CVC) advises that Environment Canada is predicting showers and localized significant rainfall in the amounts of 50-75mm. Heavy rainfall may cause pooling on roadways, flash floods and flooding in low-lying areas. Higher water levels will result in local streams and rivers becoming dangerous, especially in the vicinity of culverts, bridges, and dams. The Pride Flag was raised today at the Township of Amaranth Municipal Office. The Township proclaims June 2023 as Pride Month in the Township. The Township supports an inclusive and respectful community where all citizens can live, work and play in a safe environment. By participating in the flag raising the Township sees an opportunity to: prevent discrimination; promote awareness; acceptance of every person; and develops a relationship where all members of the community reside.
