Public Members are appointed by Council to certain special purpose bodies, concurrent with term of Council. Anyone interested in serving must be at least 18 years old, a Canadian Citizen, a resident of the Township and not employed by the Board or the municipality. Below is a current list of Committees and Boards.
Council has approved the formation of a committee to explore the concerns of stray bullets and discharging of firearms within the Township. If you are interested in joining the committee please send an email expressing your interest to the Clerk Nicole Martin at nmartin@amaranth.ca. Please note the committee is volunteer based and no compensation will be provided. The role of the committee is to explore the concerns and provide avenues of resolution to Council.
