Starting January 1, 2026 - Recycling Changes in Dufferin County
The residential recycling program is now managed by Circular Materials. Please direct all residential recycling inquiries to their contractor GFL at 1-877-426-4351 or email dufferin@gflenv.com.
Blue boxes and blue bags will be phased out starting spring 2026. Blue carts will be distributed to residents for collection in late winter/early spring. Changes will also be made to the acceptable items list. A provincial-wide and expanded standard list of acceptable items for recycling will be released.
