DUFFERIN COUNTY FIRE DEPARTMENTS TOTAL FIRE BAN DECLARED - JULY 15 2026
The Total Fire Ban will commence July 15th at 8:30am until further notice. These are dangerous fire conditions and fire may spread quickly and be extremely hazardous. All burning permits are suspended, and all open fires are prohibited.
The county-wide ban includes bon fires, recreational fires, construction burns, and any other type of outdoor fire. Only "approved" gas-fired and charcoal barbecues are exempt.
Violation of the fire ban could lead to charges and fines.

The public meeting will be held on August 5th, 2026 @ 6:00 p.m. at the Township of Amaranth Municipal Office located at 374028 6th Line, Amaranth.

The Township of Amaranth now offers a convenient way to pay your property taxes, water account, building permits, dog tags and municipal invoices online using a credit card with our secure payment provider (fees apply).
What You’ll Need:
19-digit roll number (found on your property tax bill)
Customer number, invoice number or building permit number located on your invoice
The amount you wish to pay
A valid credit card
Note: When paying using a credit card a convenience fee will be applied to the payment amount.
