February 7, 2023 - Credit Valley Conservation (CVC) advises that daytime highs will range from 2 to 8ºC over the next several days. Light rain is forecasted for today and up to 20mm is expected on Thursday. The recent cooler temperatures have resulted in the river to freeze-up at some locations. February 2023 Snow Sculpture Contest

During the month of February get outside in the snow and get creative! We are running a contest to see who can build an amazing snow sculpture. Post your pictures in the comments on our Facebook post and the picture that gets the most likes will win a prize. Open to Amaranth residents only and the address will be verified once the winner is selected. The contest will close on Wednesday March 1st at 8:30am and the picture that has the most likes wins!
