DUFFERIN COUNTY FIRE DEPARTMENTS - TOTAL FIRE BAN DECLARED, AUGUST 6, 2025

The Total Fire Ban will commence August 6th at 8 am until further notice.
These are dangerous fire conditions and fire may spread quickly and be extremely hazardous.
All burning permits are suspended, and all open fires are prohibited.
The county-wide ban includes bon fires, recreational fires, construction burns, and any other type of outdoor fire.
Only “approved” gas-fired and charcoal barbecues are exempt.
Violation of the fire ban could lead to charges and fines.

Amaranth Pickleball Proposal

The idea of pickleball courts in Amaranth originated through the work of the 2023 IPM committee. Funds raised through the IPM have been pledged to or already donated to various projects and charities in the community, Amaranth pickleball courts being one of them.
