Upcoming Planned Hydro Outage in Amaranth - February 19, 2026

A planned outage is scheduled overnight from February 19, 2026 at 10:00 p.m. to February 20, 2026 at 7:00 a.m. This outage is required so Hydro crews can safely work on equipment serving our area.

Approximately 1100 Hydro One customers will be impacted. Affected customers have already been notified through the Hydro One automated phone system. Customers can also visit their outage map (select “future planned outages” in the legend) or call 1 888 664 9376 for more information.

Tips to Prepare for the Planned Outage
• Ensure appliances, such as stoves, are in the off position.
• Fully charge cellphones and other necessary devices.
• Use a battery powered alarm clock or cellphone for wake-up alarms.
• Keep refrigerator and freezer doors closed as much as possible; use a cooler with ice for items needed during the outage.
• If water service may be affected, fill containers with water for drinking and cooking.
