Online Credit Card Payments Now Available

The Township of Amaranth now offers a convenient way to pay your property taxes, water account, building permits, dog tags and municipal invoices online using a credit card with our secure payment provider (fees apply).

What You’ll Need:

19-digit roll number (found on your property tax bill)

Customer number, invoice number or building permit number located on your invoice

The amount you wish to pay

A valid credit card

Note: When paying using a credit card a convenience fee will be applied to the payment amount.

January 23, 2026

Pursuant to s.16.9 of O.Reg. 239/02 as amended, the Township of Amaranth is declaring a Significant Weather Event in respect to snow accumulation, blowing snow and reduced visibility, starting at 1:00 p.m. on Friday January 23, 2026, and continuing until further notice. Users of the roads in the Township are advised to avoid any unnecessary travel and to use caution if doing so. The Township will issue a public notice when this Significant Weather Event has ended. 
PLEASE NOTE: Township snow control operations may take longer than usual due to poor visibility during this time.
The Township office will be closed for the remainder of the day as of 1:30 p.m.
