The Township Municipal office will be closed on Wednesday March 4th, 2026 from 11:00a.m. to 4:30p.m. and will re-open on Thursday March 5th, 2026 at 8:30a.m.
Correspondence can be left in the red drop box at the front door.

Online Credit Card Payments Now Available
The Township of Amaranth now offers a convenient way to pay your property taxes, water account, building permits, dog tags and municipal invoices online using a credit card with our secure payment provider (fees apply).
What You’ll Need:
19-digit roll number (found on your property tax bill)
Customer number, invoice number or building permit number located on your invoice
The amount you wish to pay
A valid credit card
Note: When paying using a credit card a convenience fee will be applied to the payment amount.
The Township of Amaranth will now be placing all Planning Notices on the Township website at the following link: https://www.amaranth.ca/municipal-government/planning-development/
Reduced load restrictions for the Township of Amaranth roads are in effect from March 1 to May 15th each year. These dates may be varied due to road conditions. Permits are required to moved excess loads during Half Load season. Please contact the office at info@amaranth.ca for further information.
