Council Public Notice - June 23, 2025

Council for the Township of Amaranth would like to thank Andrew Stirk for his years of service on Amaranth Council. Andrew's positive attitude and enthusiasm will be missed at the Council table as well as his thoughtful input and outside of the box thinking. Andrew has been an excellent representative for the Township and tireless and passionate advocate for many community issues including road speed and road safety, fire and emergency services and long-term infrastructure financing challenges. Andrew also served as Chair of the Grand Valley and District Library Board, Vice Chair of the Centre Dufferin Recreation Complex Board of Management, Chair of the Amaranth Police Services Board, Council Representative for the South West Dufferin Police Service Board and Council Representative of the Shelburne & District Fire Board. 

We wish Andrew all the best in the future and know he will continue to be a valuable member of the community.
