DUFFERIN COUNTY FIRE DEPARTMENTS - TOTAL FIRE BAN LIFTED AUGUST 21, 2025
Effective Thursday August 21st at 8 am, the burn ban that was put in place August 6th has been lifted for the municipalities in Dufferin County.
Residents are reminded to follow the rules of the Open-Air Burning By-law for your municipality. These rules are in place to ensure the safety of the entire community.
When conducting any open-air burning, ensure that it does not create a nuisance, the fire is constantly attended, and there is a means of extinguishment while the fire is burning.
The Township of Amaranth will now be placing all Planning Notices on the Township website at the following link: https://www.amaranth.ca/municipal-government/planning-development/
