Watershed Conditions Statement – Water Safety

A low pressure system is set to traverse the province Tuesday into Wednesday bringing heavy rain to the Grand River Watershed. Cumulative rainfall totals of 20 to 30 mm are possible Tuesday night into Wednesday due to this system, resulting in elevated flows in rivers and streams across the watershed. 

Flows are expected to peak below warning levels throughout the watershed. While no major flooding is expected, there may be some flooding in  low lying areas, which are prone to flooding.
