EXCAVATOR VALUED AT $200,000 STOLEN OVERNIGHT

(Orangeville, ON) - Officers from the Dufferin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently investigating the theft of an Excavator Caterpillar 310-07, which occurred overnight in Orangeville. 

The theft took place during the overnight hours between Sunday April 25, and Monday, April 26, 2021, from a plaza parking lot on Brenda Boulevard. The suspect(s) drove a white transport truck and trailer into the parking lot, loaded the excavator onto the trailer, and then exited the parking lot. There is no suspect information at this time, however, the investigation is ongoing and any updates will be provided as information becomes available.

The stolen excavator is described as a 2020 Caterpillar 310-07, yellow in colour. The machine is valued at approximately $200,000.
