Council of The Township of Amaranth has supported Sunday Gun Hunting within the Township.
This will not be formally implemented or allowed until the Provincial Regulation has been officially updated.
Council of the Township of Amaranth recognizes that hunting in Ontario is regulated by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry and individual municipalities may decide to permit Sunday gun hunting. Council has notified the Ministry of the support and authorization of Sunday Gun Hunt within Amaranth in accordance with provincial legislation.
Correspondence will be communicated to the public once the regulation for the Township has been updated accordingly.
Interested persons may express their comments in writing or via e-mail to the Municipal Clerk. Such written comments will be brought before Council.
