DUFFERIN OPP RESPONDS TO STUCTURE FIRE IN AMARANTH TOWNSHIP

 

(DUFFERIN, COUNTY) - Members of the Dufferin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended a structure fire on 6th Line in Amaranth Township.

  On June 20, 2021, at approximately 8:16 p.m., Dufferin OPP and Shelburne Fire attended the scene of a barn fire the area of 6th Line and 25 Sideroad. 6th Line was shut down for approximately an hour while the fire was extinguished.

 Investigation determined the barn was empty and there were no injuries reported. The fire was deemed not to be suspicious.
