Dufferin County Community Grants

Dufferin County is accepting applications in a second round of Community Grants and Food for Thought Grants to support eligible projects and programs that benefit the residents of Dufferin. HCIA is proud to partner with The County by providing an assessment team to review, evaluate and recommend applications for approval by Council.

If you or an organization you know wants to make a difference in the community and could use some additional funds for a new or expanded initiative, please consider submitting an application for funding by August 20, 2021. (Applicants must be a registered not-for-profit or charitable organization, or partnered with one, and not a municipality. If you have already received a 2021 Community Grant, you are ineligible for the second round.)

Read the eligibility criteria, find the forms and apply here.
There are two forms:
• a short form application for those applying for a Community Grant up to $1,000 or a Food for Thought Grant up to $3,000, and;
• a long form application for those applying for a Community Grant over $1,000 ($1,001 and above).
Preference will be given to projects that support the following strategic priorities as identified by The County:
• Climate Action
• Cultural Enhancement
• Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Initiatives
• Economic Development
• Youth and Seniors Services
