CVC - WATERSHED CONDITIONS STATEMENT - Flood Outlook

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry is forecasting significant rainfall with total accumulations of 85mm over the course of the next 5 days. Rainfall is predicted to begin early Thursday and continue until the beginning of next week.

All watercourses in our area will experience higher than normal water levels.  As a result, streams and rivers will become dangerous, especially in the vicinity of culverts, bridges and dams. There is a potential for flooding in low lying areas. Pets should be kept  away from all water courses. Children should be warned to stay away from all watercourses.

CVC will continue to closely monitor weather and water levels in the watershed.  The Flood Outlook Statement will be in effect through to Monday April 16, 2018 or until further notice.
